Working hours: 20 hours - Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm (48 weeks a year)
N:B This is not a term time only position.
This role entails general housekeeping
- Washing utensils, dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
- Sorting. storing and distributing ingredients.
- To maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised working environment.
- To maintain accurate and update records relevant to the kitchen - Eg fridge temperatures.
- Having regard to the individual dietary requirements ensuring that all children are provided with appropriate meals to meet their needs.
- To support the nursery's commitment to safeguarding children in all aspects of the nursery service.
- To liaise with other professionals as appropriate - Eg Ofsted and Environmental Health.
- To have a clear knowledge of and adhere to all health & safety regulations.
- To comply and assist with the development of policies and procedures.
- To attend meetings as required and participate in training opportunities and performance development.
- To undertake any duties set to you by the management team that will assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Ensuring the children are safe.
- Incorporating Health & Safety measures for the children in the nursery environment.
Located within a minutes walk from Hampton Court train station, and a short walk from the following bus routes, 111, 216, 411, 461
